Based on history, it will be a long, long time. Hate, envy, jealousy and ignorance are hard to overcome.
Exactly right. When you’ve been told your whole life that you are a victim and all your problems are caused by somebody else, it’s much more pleasant to believe that than the truth. There are just too many people, black and non-black, who want things to remain exactly as they are.
