You aren’t aware that budgets and taxes are interdependent? More tax is bigger budget, less tax is smaller budget.
Proposal is for less tax therefore there must be cuts in the budget. Mil could be one of them.
They are two different bills. Tax bills do not specify what is to be cut or increased.
North Korea, Russia in Syria, we're still in Afghanistan, military stretched thin by providing disaster relief through hurricanes and earthquakes, Sequestration still in effect, years of deep Obama budget cuts, etc.
Sure, they could slash the military again. Our GOP Congress doesn't seem to want to touch any social program Taker welfare or entitlements. But to cut the military, before it has even begun to recover from years of neglect, abuse, and the budget cutters would be very detrimental to the nation.
