Jared Kushner, the presidents son-in-law and senior adviser, told President Trump to back Sen. Luther Stranges (R-AL) failed bid for election in part because he believed Stranges victory would enrage Steve Bannon, according to a report. The Huffington Post reported Thursday:
According to two sources who work closely with the young real estate tycoon, Kushner suggested the endorsement, in part, because he believed that a Strange victory would enrage Steve Bannon, the newly reinstalled executive chairman of Breitbart News and a nemesis of Kushners from their time together in the Trump White House.

It looks like Steve Bannon had the last laugh. We need more Steve Bannons and less Jared Kushner’s..
Bannon didn’t look “enraged” to me. He looked as happy as a lark at Roy Moore’s victory party. Hopefully, this is a Fake News story, because if true, it shows that President Trump is a dope for listening to his NY Democrat son-in-law.
Of course it’s a fake news story - and you pointed out exactly why it’s been thrown out there.
Kind of like the “news” report I heard the other day, where some source said Trump went to bed “upset” and “angry” that Strange lost. Oh, really? And who would know THAT except Trump himself or Melania?
The propaganda isn’t even bothering to disguise what it is anymore.
“...According to two sources...”
And how this “known”? I am skeptical of this story, although I am not particularly pro Kushner; it just sounds like typical fake news.
i don’t believe this at all...
Trump is a smart man- imo he knew Strange would not win but in backing Strange he could place all the blame on McConnell, who deserves the blame and who Trump does not like...
personally i think this was another calculated move by the President in order to make mumbles mcconnell look even more foolish and weaken him even more...
I am not convinced that it wasn’t a ploy by PDT.
Guess we will never know because he will never be able to claim that is the way it was BUT PDT doesn’t always play by the ‘rules’.
He should set the family up in a nice suite of plush offices somewhere - Tel Aviv maybe or make SIL an Ambassador to anywhere HE wants to go.
Sometimes one can’t even go through the charade of hiring ones relatives like they can in a construction job where you can limit their activities.
No matter where he puts these two (D & SIL) they will be the center of attention BUT the further from PDTs ear, the better.
If he ships them off to ‘Timbuktu’ his ‘friends & Allies’ will understand, the rest can really just F OFF.
(((((((Kushner))))))) has got to go.
Strange = Swamp
President Trump had some very bad advice or he got something politically for embracing a swamp creature,
Kushner and McMaster both need to go
Three are enough.
> Kushner suggested the endorsement, in part, because he believed that a Strange victory would enrage Steve Bannon
Assuming this is true... If Kushner allows his kindergarten style rivalry to affect his decision making, he is NOT qualified to be an adviser to anyone, especially not to the president. He should speak to a psychologist about his obsession with Steve Bannon before he says another word to the president.
Wow. I am not sure to make of this, but if this is true, Mr. President, perhaps your son-in-law doesn’t always give you the best advice. I am sorry to say that; I understand he is family.
Of course it’s fake news. It’s a self-serving Breitbart story.
No names = Fake news
Yup. Sounds like that to me.
What utter stupid BS
As if Trump would use that as motivation
Yeah right
It’s time they escort Jared Kushner out of the Peoples House and bring Bannon back.
Does anyone believe that Jared Kushner wants to 'enrage Steve Bannon'? To what end, nah-nah-nah?
These are serious times and trying to piss off a man that really loves the President {and is your father-in-law} is way beyond belief {"according to two sources giving head at the bus station"}.
Kushner is the poster-boy for why you shouldn’t hire family !
