I think it's pretty good idea. If these millionaire entertainers need protection, why can't the owners or the players union provide private security? Why burden the taxpayers, who in many cases subsidized the very arenas these prima donnas work in?
Besides, aren't there everyday miscreants the sheriff's department could be hunting down?
