Exactly what does the US get from being in the middle of that?
A loyal ally in the Middle East who will fight their own fights. A group of people that have earned their nation.

It won’t happen. To even try will blow up the entire region and once again, US soldiers will be in the middle. Muslims are our friends as long as we are fighting their fights, and that includes Kurds.
