I am far from one of the BS anti-war a-holes but with this rationale,Afghanistan was lost the minute the USA made a turn to Iraq and over 4000 men and women were KIA and maimed for life and the Mideast was lit on fire. This ultimately flooded Europe with Islam,destroyed Syria,Libya and Yemen as nation states,emboldened Turkey and Russia while giving Iran everything it ever wanted. All for nothing was OIF/OEF. We didn’t even get a drop of that “blood oil”! There is no do-overs in foreign policy and war.
