The Establishment Can’t Save Dean Heller

Dean Heller (R-Nev.), has spent nearly his entire adult life as a politician. The 57-year-old Senator began his political career as Chief Deputy State Treasurer in the Nevada Office of the State Treasurer in 1988. In 1990, Heller won election to the Nevada State Legislature where he served two terms until 1994 when he ran for Nevada Secretary of State and served three terms.

In 2006, Heller ran for Congress in Nevada’s District 2. Congressman Dean Heller served three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. On May 3, 2011, Governor Brian Sandoval appointed Heller to the US Senate to fill the vacated seat of John Ensign. The appointment afforded Heller the ability to run in 2012 as an incumbent giving him an edge to win.

Heller is currently seeking re-election in 2018.

Heller Will Face a Primary Challenge

Republican Danny Tarkanian has announced he will run against Heller in 2018. Tarkanian, who is well-known, previously ran and won a high-profile contested primary against the establishment state senator and majority leader, Michael Roberson, in 2016. Democrat Jacky Rosen ultimately won the general election.

Roberson, first elected in 2010, was strongly backed by the Tea Party as a sound conservative. However, once elected, Roberson quickly shed his conservative cloak and aligned with the moderate establishment wing of the Republican party to pursue his quest to climb the political ladder. Roberson has earned the nickname of RINO (Republican in name only). The state senator’s failed congressional attempt was backed by the establishment, both in Nevada, and DC, and even with loads of their money, Tarkanian whooped him.

Heller is going to get a political shiv in the primary.
No matter how much money the Turdle throws at Heller.
The Turdle may not even be majority by then.
I predict he won’t be.
Getting rid of McConnell as majority leader will be the first line of
defense by the DC Elites in an attempt to put down challengers.
Just as John Bonehead was replaced by Paul Ryan.

Do you have inside manipulation of the election results??... The fix we are in now is because we’ve excepted the crap rino politicians that the establishment has given us. The attitude that we are better off with a rino, than a democrat has got us NOTHING.

I was a Nevada delegate and Trumpster, Heller will pay for being a NeverTrumper.

Heller didn’t even show up at the Clarke County or Reno State convention because he knew Trump was the favorite.

Sandoval, Heck and Heller lost many their jobs in the legislature, and the GOP control in the state. Their treason let Harry Reid get his pick KCM become Senator.

True but he has said not interested several times both publically and privately. I haven’t seen him face to face for sometime. I hope to corner him at deer camp next week.

Can’t forget the clown the RNC sent to Nevada to help him get reelected while no one thinks too much of him.
