Remember, guys, this is now a legal issue, and we need to look at it as such.

“Communism” is a political belief system. We do not restrict any member’s beliefs nor the expression of those beliefs, regardless of how abhorrent they are to us.

Had he expressed support for a Communist COUNTRY, as opposed to Communism as a political belief, he would be in trouble there, as he would be had he attended any CPUSA event and not disclosed it (because they are on a subversive list).

But like OJ spend 9 years in Slammeramma for a minor property crime, (in reality because the world knew he skated on the killings,) there is plenty in this SOBs statement conduct re: superiors, (Art. 88, 133, 134) to put him away for a long time.... and the USDB is NOT a nice place.

We do if they run counter to the oath that service members take. As I mentioned, there are several clauses in the oath that are violated by this scumbag. Most notably:

a. "...do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic..."

The Constitution as it's written run antithetical to the tenets of communism. Communist ideals represents an ideology that by its very nature is an enemy to our Constitution and style of governance.

b. "...I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same..."

He has stated very clearly by his actions and writings that he does not "bear true faith and allegiance" to the Constitution -- again a blatant violation of his oath.

c. "...that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations..."

He obviously has mental reservations about supporting our country and Constitution.

d. "...or purpose of evasion..."

He had to have evaded the exposure of this and hidden his allegiance, or this would have been known to his superiors very much before his graduation. His entire period at West Point has been spent under a lie.

e. "...faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter..."

This remains to be seen, but it is easy to imagine that if he has problems with allegiance to the Constitution, that faithful discharge of duties would be problematic to him as well.

f. "So help me God."

One of the most basic tenets of communism is the banishment of God or religion.

Again, there are more than enough violations here to warrant court-martial and removal. Does he want this? I think he wants part of this. Personally, I think he knows very well what he's doing and his ultimate goal is to be dismissed from military service after gaining a free education at a high-level university. I don't think in this "modern" army, he expects to be court-martialed as part of the bargain.

And that's the shame of what our country has become. It used to be that actions had consequences -- especially in the military.

Those oaths are pretty clear.
