It Begins: Stubhub Advertises 10% Discount on NFL Tickets

Well, tickets resold on StubHub are going for over face value anyway, so 10% off that is still probably going to be over face value. And in newer stadiums, season ticket holders are locked into Personal Seat License contracts which legally bind them to buy tickets for 10 years or so. I'd look more at TV viewership than attendance numbers for signs of the NFL's downfall.

Yep. For instance, if I had already purchased tickets, I'd probably use them. The money is already sunk, nothing to be gained from "taking a knee".

But, the TV can always be turned off. No sunk cost there, in fact, I've gained hours and hours on the weekend. Went for a walk in the park with Mrs WBill last Sunday, while WBill Jr rode his bike all over the place. Way more fun than sitting on my butt in front of the TV.

I started moving away from the NFL last season and have cut it off completely this year. I've been surprised at how little I miss it.
