Ginsburg: Sexism was a 'major factor' in Clinton's election loss
By Jacqueline Thomsen - 09/27/17 02:36 PM EDT
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said that she has no doubt that sexism played a "major" part in the surprise results of the 2016 presidential election.
CBSs Charlie Rose asked Ginsburg at an event Tuesday night if she thought sexism contributed to Hillary Clintons loss to President Trump in 2016.
I have no doubt that it did, she replied.
Ginsburg said that while there were many elements that led to Clintons loss, sexism was a major, major factor.
The justice, who described herself as a flaming female litigator last week, faced backlash last year for criticizing Trump while he was still a candidate.
She told The New York Times that she cant imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president.
For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be I dont even want to contemplate that, she said.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.......
If I were (hard to imagine) a SCOTUS justice who had fallen asleep in the Capitol building at a major public event such as the State of the Union address I would definitely think it was time to retire. What an embarrassment and disgrace.
But then, I suppose Obama SOTU addresses were best slept through....
I remember when I respected Supreme Court Justices. I miss those days.
Sure hope this liberal whore dies soon giving The Donald another Supreme.
Sexism was a huge factor in Clinton getting as many votes as she did.
“There was a time when no member of the SC would even think of discussing politics in public.”
Look up William O. Douglas. He was a real pistol.
Or Warren Burger: “The Second Amendment only guarantees your right to own a musket.”
What a pathetic decrepit loser LIB. Her time is near.
Hillary’s problem is not her hardware (sex). It’s her software (ideology).
She’s a lying, commie thug with blood on her hands.
