No one in Congress would dare oppose the Usurper. Because of the color of his skin. No other reason. And those who groomed and prepped him knew too well the race card would be his most formidable weapon amongst a populace already over-hypersensitized to the charge of being a racist.
Trump appears to be a complete nebish. Folks can make all the excuses they want for him, but his judgement on the Alabama primary shows him to be absolutely stupid when it comes to anything outside of his known orbit or comfort zone. This also explains so many of his atrocious appointments and debacle of presidential personnel management.
No other reason? Not even the fact that they are his ideological brethren, as they prove now?
