The UK’s fear of firearms, and potential weapons of all kinds, is well-documented. Subjects are urged not to carry any item, such as pepper spray, that might be adapted for self-defense. Officers take to social media to boast of “weapons sweeps” that turn up old kitchen knives, baseball bats, and sharpened sticks. In 2009, the Home Office even contemplated replacing traditional glass pint glasses out of fears about their use in barroom brawls.

No end in sight if they adopt carry rules for the Bobbies eh. Just think, yesterday we were talking about an entire arsenal discovered by the cops. Gotta be on the look out for pellet guns and airsoft rifles now. And to think, there was a time when the sun never set on a piece of the British Empire.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with the minds of Brits that instills an irrational hysterical fear of firearms in them, but nevertheless it’s there. They’re like New Yorkers.

All those laws and enforcement and propaganda against the law-abiding for anything that might be useful in self-defense (what’s next, pop tarts?), yet a muzzie was still able to decapitate a soldier in broad daylight on a busy public street, and have time to stand there and make speeches until the police showed up.
