Cancelled my cable television yesterday. Saved over $1,200 annually! No more money going to ESPN/NFL Network or any of the other networks that promote/encourage the destruction of this nation.

I did this a few years ago (and have probably saved around $5,000 since then), but it's not even about what a bunch of spoiled millionaires and billionaires are doing or not doing (I don't really care if they stand or take a knee, they have no impact on my life).
To me, pro sports have been in a decline for a long time - they are too expensive to attend in person, and if it's an NFL game, putting aside driving or flying to attend a game, I may have to be around Bills fans, which is guaranteed to ruin just about any live event. The other American sport I liked, NASCAR, became a parody of itself, and has lost its way and lost touch with its roots.
And as for the networks, I stopped watching ESPN not because of politics, but because they devote too much time to idiotic talking heads, there's too many commercials, and they keep showing the same damn highlights all day.

We cut our Comcast cable in June, and our savings are similar to yours. That took away a lot of monthly $’s that ESPN/Disney/ABC were getting from our outrageous monthly Comcast bill.
Last week, we cancelled our Sling TV Blue/Orange/ABC and now just use Sling TV Blue. We now save another $25-30+ bucks per month. Sling TV is used for streaming some programs/channels via our internet.
Even better news, Sling TV Blue does not carry ESPN nor Disney/ABC. So, we are not paying, at least $9/month to ESPN just by using Sling Orange.
