“The political winds in this country, right now, are very hard to understand.”
They are not at all hard to understand if the political elite would ever get out of their insular world and actual SPEAK with their constituents. They may find out that we “deplorable people” are not as dumb as they think we are. We are no longer willing to sit down, shut up and let the politicians tell us that they know best!
If you disagree with an “elite” then you are defacto stupid, to them.
