Whether or not the NFL was totally inebriated, without a doubt, it was pissing on the Military.
Clearly the Lady doesn’t get it. She may have loved them, but they never loved her.
They are products of an Anti-American culture in the media, entertainment, and educational system. They hate traditional America. And their strength lies merely in muscle power. They are mental and moral weaklings. Drop dead Longhorns and all the rest of this overpaid collection of NFL degenerate, overpaid ingrates.
I was searching some verified George Washington quotes after getting fooled by the bogus one about “..American Christian will die on their feet before getting on their knees.”
I thought the following was VERY apropo for the NFL/ flag thing. And which Ms. Kyle also addresses.
“Citizens by birth or choice, of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. The name of AMERICAN, which belongs to you, in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of Patriotism, more than any appellation derived from local discriminations.”
Farewell Address to the People of the United States | Monday, September 19, 1796
Too late for the NFL. Humpty has fallen off his wall and there’s no repairing him.
Mrs. Kyle, if you see this, please know there are millions of people who are so grateful for what your husband did. I received the book for a birthday gift and was amazed. I also saw the movie with Bradley Cooper and could not stop crying.
Chris Kyle was a dedicated patriot and deserves a medal (if he already wasn’t given one).
We should all write President Trump and ask for that. He does have that pesky North Korea problem to deal with ;) but perhaps he might have a bit of time to bestow an award on Chris Kyle, if the man has not been honored before.
Hey! What about inviting Taya and their children to Mara Lago (sp?) for a visit? I am sure Melania would be a very gracious hostess.

Better comments than the Tillman widow’s mealy mouth crap
Bottom line: I watch the NFL,the NBA and other sporting events to *escape* from the reality of this filthy, despicable country. And if you dare remind me of that filthiness during your events I'll turn to the Knitting Channel.
And you'd be wise to consider that I belong to the demographic that can afford a Lexus or a Mercedes, can afford to vacation in the Caribbean and can afford to take those diabetes medications that cost hundreds of dollars per month.
Of course the references to filthiness were sarcastic
I don't find any of that in her post.

Pat Tillman's widow: Don't politicize Pat in effort to divide ‑ azcentral.com"

"As a football player and soldier, Pat inspired countless Americans to unify." "It is my hope that his memory should always remind people that we must come together. Pat's service, along with that of every man and woman's service, should never be politicized in a way that divides us. We are too great of a country for that. Those that serve fight for the American ideals of freedom, justice and democracy. They and their families know the cost of that fight. I know the very personal costs in a way I feel acutely every day."
Ah, I see am conflating two different widows. Tillman’s widow has more text in her comment to CNN in that link I posted. Still didn’t find it to be a slam on Trump. And they politicized his service and his Christian faith and spit upon both. Even today that is going on at Fakebook.
