Another crooked green scheme. The greenies are full of crooks. The windmills are all being shut down, too. All the green govt handouts are being cut.
Some young guy came to the door the other day to tell me about our electrical companies “green program”. After a little bit I remembered reading about it.
“Wait - is this the one where I get to pay more money if somehow the electrons from only solar and wind and stuff gets into my house!?”
“Well sir, it’s not exactly like this, but yes those funds would be used to pay for green energy sources.”
“I must be weird, but I don’t want to pay more for the same electricity. No thank you.”
I didn’t bother getting into it about the whole capitalism thing, private vs. government, etc. Do bad he didn’t come tomorrow. “So this is where I get to pay more for some solar firm to take their millions and then go bankrupt?”
