Yes it is true that Saudi women may now obtain licenses to drive a motor vehicle. However the law stays in effect which forbids Saudi women to ride in the front seat of a motor vehicle.

There have always been backseat drivers. Now, they can get licensed!

LOL. So they can drive ( many wearing a full face covering without even eye slits), but they can’t leave the house without an adult male from their family....
