They took a knee—but not during the National Anthem.

So "big deal"...

It is a big deal. They bowed down to BLM and leftism. The white owners and coaches are trying appeasement, and to play both sides of the fence. Spineless jackals.

“They took a knee—but not during the National Anthem.”

Took a knee for what? Was it a hostile statement directed at me because I voted to support a candidate whose name I don’t think I have to mention?

Or was it to make the social statement during an NFL licensed broadcast that police officers are pigs that need to be killed in the streets?

It didn’t say that in the article. I had to search for that. That’s huge! I hope more choose to kneel before the anthem.

Respectfully, the point is that they tried to have it both ways, but in the end they’re siding with BLM and the other racists

You know I think many have missed the point you have made here. Taking a knee before the national anthem begins and then standing during the national anthem are actually cowardly moves. Also cowardly are the moves by the teams who stayed in the tunnel rather than on the field during the playing of the national anthem. Those people were simply afraid to take a stand so they straddled the fence as it were.

I have also noticed that the teams who have players that are doing these things are bending over backwards and twisting themselves into pretzels to claim that they are not unpatriotic and they are not showing disrespect for the Armed Forces. This tells me that they are well aware of what the great majority of people in this country feel about what they are doing and they are very worried about it.

Not during Anthem, but according to the news they took the knee when the large flag was being carried onto the field. Guess that says it all where they stand with the flag and so many that have sacrificed their lives for US. Yea Arizona for the boos.
