As the Cardinals were introduced, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, as well as executive vice presidents Stephen Jones, Charlotte Anderson and Jerry Jones Jr., stood locked arm in arm with the players, coaches and staff.
Before a giant American flag was unfurled that covered almost the entire field, the Cowboys took a knee briefly as a group, including Jerry Jones, which led to a smattering of boos from the crowd that included a large number of Dallas fans.
During the national anthem, the Cowboys stood locked arm in arm but nobody took a knee or appeared to have any sign of silent protest.

Yes, they have a right to peacefully protest, and their management has a right to peacefully fire them. Neither of these violates the Constitution.
Hockey will gain significantly in popularity this season, imo.
If you want to end the NFL in its current form, this is the time to hit the NFL very, very hard with the chronic traumatic encephalopathy issue, including the recent findings showing Aaron Hernandez had stage 3 CTE. I’m not excusing Hernandez’s behavior on this basis, but the autopsy studies that have been done on multiple former NFL players is pretty remarkable, and is a big issue that the NFL will have to deal with.
Tom Basile, host of radio show Sunday in America summed it up fairly well;
Roger Goodell and team owners are playing with fire. In an effort to pander to their own players politics, theyre insulting a broad cross-section of Americans who are sick of the politicization of everything. But perhaps more damaging for the NFL is that fact that they risk exposing a tax scheme that will further enrage fans and potentially jeopardize their entire business model. The last thing Goodell wants is people talking about the NFLs tax-exempt status and taxpayer subsidies.

Wouldn’t know. Not watching the ghetto NFL ever again.

Last but certainly not least dont forget to tell the NFL themselves that you are boycotting them and dont forget to mention that you are contacting advertisers and sponsors to tell them youre boycotting their products and services until they sever ties with the NFL! http://www.nfl.com/contact-us;
NFL created this animosity long before Pres. Trump. They absolutely own this. Now they are twisting and turning, trying to shake it off. Jerry Jones thinks taking a knee now just before the Anthem will make it alright if they stand during the Anthem. Like so many, he is clueless or thinks Americans are. You want it both ways? OK, you and your team get a participation trophy and snacks before you go.
And the fans have a right to spend their time and money elsewhere.
Amazing how this started as a protest against police and law enforcement.
What’s that say about the NFL?
I was a diehard Eagles fan. Last year I watched a few games but was disgusted by the few players doing this. Now that this is sponsored by the commissioner the NFK is completely dead to me. Not another game or dime ever from me. Life is too short. The NFL should be broken up anyway. It is a monopoly.
They don’t have the “ right to peaceful protest” on the customer’s time and dime
Imagine that happening at your place if employment. Insulting your customer base.
Screw the #FakeRights of the racial grievance crowd. I’m way past sick of their crybabying excuses and violence
Take out the logs in their own eyes
Breakaway to the 2021 ESPN/NFL negotiations with Goodell’s successor.
ESPN: You guys really screwed the pooch with your sudden heart for 1st amendment rights. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer you 20% of what we offered you in 2011.
NFL Stooge: Errr... Duh...
We should thank them for kneeling in prayer. Sure will confuse the liberals.
I’ll boil this nfl crap down to its simplest form: racism. Black players are showing their contempt for whites, our country, our flag, our soldiers and our law enforcement officers. Whites participating in this travesty are too stupid to realize that they’re being played.
Eagles did the same yesterday - I’m still trying to figure out what they were showing solidarity for - the team? the US? the BLM movement? - all very adolescent and silly....
Reading? Talking to family? Going hiking? Sex? But I guess three hours is wishful thinking.
Oh good heavens Trump called you an SOB. Poor snowflake NFL’ers can’t handle it. Lock arms and cry why don’t you.
When I was 10 years old in pee wee football the coach called me a miserable piece of shit at practice. Multiple times. In front of my father. I didn’t cower in a tunnel because of it.
This goes back to McRino stating we don't have to be afraid of the muzzie Soetoro. They learned this disrespect of flag and country from the Terrorist in Chief. They spit on the flag. They spit on their meal ticket.
