While the NFL no longer entertains me on Sundays, ratings and explanations on Mondays make up for some of it.
If only Gore could jump in and tell us how the “viewer models” show the NFL’s popularity is on the rise even though “viewer measurements” are declining.

The Eagles did a great job respecting our flag, our anthem, and our military yesterday. I was so proud!

I think it will go something like this. The NFL will pay some form of shakedown money to a black group (NAACP, etc). They will make a big deal about donating to find ways for equitable law enforcement for minority communities. They will run ads that show support the initiative during all games. In exchange players will all agree to stand at attention during the anthem or face large fines and suspensions.
I think the players staging these protests are too STOOOOOOPID and delusional to take that deal.

Agreed regarding the Eagles, that enormous flag and the veteran singing the anthem. Maybe boring Chris Collingsworth and the rest of the ignorant sports community should stfu and respect our country.
