The North Korean foreign minister says Pyongyang has every right to take countermeasures against US aggression, including shooting down warplanes, even if they are not in North Korean airspace.
Speaking to reporters in New York on Monday, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho said that US President Donald Trump has effectively declared war on Pyongyang, meaning all options were on the table for his countrys leadership.
The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country, Reuters quoted him as saying.
Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country.
Earlier, an open letter from North Korea to several international parliaments said that President Trumps remarks in his UN General Assembly speech last week amounted to an intolerable insult to the Korean people, a declaration of war against North Korea and grave threats to the global peace, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in a report.

Up until this summer the NORKs had a pretty rational strategy that alternated between belligerence and faux concessions - successfully extracting aid from China and others.
But they don’t seem to understand there’s a new sheriff in town and they need a new playbook. My guess is that behind the rhetoric Lil Kim is probably wetting himself daily as he knows what happened to Qaddafi, Saddam, etc. and Assad would have gotten same treatment if he didn’t have Russian backing. Rocket man is fast running out of options.

By substituting threat and insult for actual diplomacy, Trump has descended to Kim Jong Un’s level. Childish, dangerous, unproductive.

Do it, Rocket Man... we will end your little kingdom.
The only thing that Dear Eater is expert at shooting off is his big fat mouth.
I saw this on some liberal sites a bit ago.
The NKs are playing to our anit-American liberal, leftist press (and the Democrats). Words to not constitute war, but the previously listed groups are too stupid to understand that.
North Korea is still flying Mig-17’s? Their main planes are Mig-21’s(number 30) and Mig-29’s (number 40.) Mig-29’s were not a bad plane in the 1980’s.
Are they even able to shoot down B-1s?
North Korean tantrums are backfiring big time
Maybe he thinks NK can pull a 1969 and claim once again the aircraft was in their airspace and not international airspace. Did you notice that impressive escort for the Lancer?
Yeah, after all, we’ve been launching all those missiles over Norkland.
Oh, wait ...
Word to Dictator-tot: we do not bow down to your ilk.
Don't shoot at me.
Need some 24/7 predator flights up and down the Nork sea of Japan coast just outside in international airspace. Give their radar operators something to do.
