I wonder what the “pansy” Rush Limbaugh is going to say about “his” team?
Is “Mr. Conservative”, going to denounce his favorite football team? Never mind praising the ONE team member, what about the entire rest of the team, conspicuous by their absence. What about THEM, Rush?

The NFL is not showing the pre-game, and if the players stand or not, to do so would be catastrophic, and fans would watch the pre-game, and if they did not stand, they would change the channel, now it may not bother the team, but when your talking advertisers...well, that is the bottom line. If people do not tune in, the advertising costs are wasted.
Follow the money. Its what pays their salaries. Personally, I read the news online, and if a team did not respect and stand, I did not watch it. I did not watch the advertisement, and where we may not change the teams mind. Advertisers certainly will.
They do this because outside of the football stadium, nobody listens to them, nobody cares about them. Push it hard enough, and it will extend into the stadium such as has happened with Colin Kapernick.
To effectively protest this bad behaviour, I encourage well written e-mails to the advertisers.
In the end, its about the money, for a team to survive IMO.

Well, so far Rush is proving me wrong. Says the first time in 45 years that he didn’t watch Sunday NFL games.
A good start, but Rush the fence sitter is not through yet, so we will see where he REALLY comes down off the fence, if he does.
