I have only seen one NFL game in the last 40 years or so and I used to love it. I wasn’t boycotting, just no longer interested. Always on TV.

I will never watch another one.

I’m in the same boat; I would watch playoff or Super Bowl games if the Giants were playing, but I never changed plans to do so. I’m not quitting the NFL; I was never much of a fan anyway (and certainly not one that spent any money on them).

Many years ago I got an official NFL hat by matching two soda bottle caps and mailing them in; it honestly is the only piece of NFL merchandise I’ve ever owned (and I paid the US Postal Service, not the NFL, to get it). The problem for the NFL is that none of my children are fans in any way; the NFL is as foreign to them as the places where people wear their hair like Colin Kaepernick. As many of their friends are “replacement Americans” (Hispanic, Asian), none of them follow the NFL at all. Soccer is definitely their sport of choice, both for playing AND watching.

Catering to ghetto losers who never buy anything anyway is just bad business.
