Alejandro Villanueva (born September 22, 1988) is an American football offensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). Villanueva is also a Captain in the United States Army, in which he served as an Army Ranger and was decorated with a Bronze Star for valor. He played college football for the Army Black Knights, being recruited at one position and playing three others during the course of his career. After serving three tours of duty in Afghanistan, he signed a contract with the Eagles on May 5, 2014, after working out in a regional showcase. Was also one of only 2 players on the Pittsburgh Steelers to stand for the National Anthem on September 24, 2017, ( The other being Ben Roethlisberger).
I literally got goosebumps reading that!

The camera did not show Ben standing. But it did show him come out on the field with the rest of the team, after the anthem was played. Did I miss something?
is it confirmed that Ben Roethlisberger stood for the anthem?
He’s more of a man than the rest of the Steelers put together.
Shame on them.
I don’t follow football, except for the New England Patriots (or at least I USED to follow them).
Quite frankly, I never heard of Alejandro Villanueva, but as of today, he is my favorite NFL player.
By the way, a dozen black “Patriot” players took a knee during the National Anthem.
On a bright note, I heard a lot of fans at Gillette Stadium booing the kneeling players at the end of the National Anthem.
Article and photos do not show Ben?
CPT Villanueva’s story today reminds me of the plot of “Gran Torino,” one of my favorite movies.
