Trump is the President of the United States of America. The flag is the symbol of the country he represents. The flag appears whenever he is on stage and he wears one in his lapel. His objective is to Make America Great Again. Why wouldn’t he defend the flag and all that it stands for? He would be derelict if he didn’t.
Oh, I totally agree that Trump was correct in defending flag and patriotism. What is surprising to me (maybe not) is NFL commissioner has accused Trump of disrespecting the NFL!! OMG! He could be seeing some anti-trust action or at least stand back and watch pro football be decimated like the tobacco industry.
