The sports world has responded to President Trump’s criticisms of NFL players who protest against the national anthem. On Friday night, Trump gave a fiery speech in Huntsville, Alabama, while speaking at a rally for Republican Senate candidate Luther Strange. President Trump referred to NFL players who protest the anthem as as “SOB’s.” He also said that it would be a winning public relations move if an NFL owner were to “fire” a player for such a protest.

By Saturday evening, the NFL Players Association, Commissioner Goodell, and the leadership of several different NFL franchises, had responded to Trump.

You are way wrong on that. The NFL (plus ESPN, edgy commercials, outspoken players) is a powerful forum for the leftists. Why would leftists want to see it fail?

Ever watch a football game on tv where the attendance is meagre? The cameramen do everything they can to avoid panning the stands. The cheering needs to be amped up artificially. It’s a disaster.
The NFL has told Trump supporters and patriots to take a hike. So I sure hope we don’t see justification like I’m going to watch the Cowboys because of Jerry Jones or I’m going to watch the Patriots because of Brady, etc., etc.
Do owners have a choice? 70 PERCENT of NFL players are BLACK. And thanks to Obama, Blacks are more racist than ever before. It’s now “cool” to be racist against Whites, allege nonexistent “inequity” and “injustice” and hurl meanginless phrases like “White privilege.”
Yet they have no problem pissing off tens of millions of patriotic white fans whose $$$ provide the league/players with their livelihoods!
We’d never know as the networks broadcasting the game would surely mute the booing from the stands so you’d never hear it on your TV.

Yes, owners have a choice but are paralyzed by PC fears.
Wonder how these owners acquired their vast wealth in the first place with irrational thinking like they are doing now? They fear a few hundred black players (who can all be replaced) more then they fear potentially tens of millions of white fans/customers whose money finances the league and keeps the league solvent permanently walking away and taking their $$$ with them.
