The Term Illegal Immigrant Is Fine (worships illegals)
Forbes.com ^ | 9/23/2017 | Adam Ozimek

I am very pro illegal immigrant. I support a broad amnesty, beyond even the focus on those brought here as children or young adults. I think illegal immigrants contribute significantly to this economy, to our country and culture, and I do not judge their decision to come here or stay here without legal authorization to be morally bad. In fact, I think the fact that someone deciding they want to take the risk to come here and live and work in America despite breaking the rules is praiseworthy if anything. We do not have a sensible guest worker program, and for many who come illegally there is no practical legal door outside of waiting in line for more than a decade. America has a rebellious disregard for bad rules at the heart of it's culture and history. Since when are we thoughtless worshippers of the law for the law's sake? How can people who love the American Revolution, the A-Team, and the Dukes of Hazzard not also love illegal immigrants? Folks, I hate to break it to you but John Rambo broke the law too!

I remember when Forbes was a reliably sane publication.
Yes, I am that old.

not also love illegal immigrants?

When they're troglodyte thugs from an enemy nation that we've had wars with and continue to be utterly different from.

No love lost on the violent dimbulbs from the mountains of Sinaloa.

Let’s see how long this jackass would’ve lasted at my house with our former illegal (and frequently drunk) neighbors terrorizing us day in and day out for 7 straight years.

Jeez, how did you put up with that? Was there no recourse?

Nope. Nashville is almost a de facto sanctuary city (not quite, but close enough). Cops were called here almost on a daily basis regarding harassment and they did nothing (unless you consider going up to them and saying, “Now, don’t you do that,” to be something). 20 years ago, they’d have done something.

We couldn’t have sold our house, except for far below market value, and the property and such would be worth from 5 to 10 times what it is in another neighborhood. Imagine having to trade an acre wooded lot and almost 2k square foot home for less than $100k. Nashville is a super-hot market right now. We couldn’t get a decent apartment for that with zero property. That’s how destructive these cretins were.

BTW, didn’t even mention the illegal Central American across the street from our house who almost successfully murdered two cops as they went to his house. These people ruin everything they touch, and that guy was here a decade under Dubya’s watch, and they did nothing until he tried to murder.

As for the other horrific neighbors, they finally left the property and sold it to Ethiopians as a parsonage for an adjacent church. A lot more peaceful now.

Hey Adam, I’ll go with “illegal Mexicans” if it’s all the same to you, sport. Toodles.

Wetbacks. It has fewer syllables and no ambiguity. While a very tiny portion of them actually ford or swim the Big River, that is the origin of the term and it is universally known. Wetbacks.

The proper term is 'illegal alien'

They are not immigrants.

I am very pro illegal squatter. I support a broad amnesty, beyond even the focus on those squatting in unoccupied buildings. I think illegal squatters contribute significantly to our homes, to our conversations and meals, and I do not judge their decision to come in homes or stay in those homes without legal authorization to be morally bad. In fact, I think the fact that someone deciding they want to take the risk to break in and live and work in our homes despite breaking the rules is praiseworthy if anything.

We do not have a sensible guest resident program, and for many who come illegally there is no practical legal door outside of waiting in line for more than a decade. Folks, I hate to break it to you but Arya Stark in Game of Thrones broke into another person’s home too!

Start from the beginning. The Libs are right when they say a person cannot be an illegal. Illegal pertains to an act not a person. Therefore, they are not illegal, they are criminals. Criminal alien is a better term.
