A hot-headed teen got a slap on the wrist Friday for slugging a Manhattan principal who told him to turn down his music. Judge Edwina Richardson-Mendelson granted Luis Penzo, 19, youthful offender status and sentenced him to a conditional discharge as long as he stays out of trouble for three years hell dodge prison and a criminal record. You made us very proud, the judge said of the surly teens compliance with a family therapy program. Penzo, who sauntered into Manhattan Supreme Court Friday wearing a white T-shirt and red gym shorts, offered no apology.

Sigh. It is very annoying to be a white guy called a racist all the time and at the same time see stuff like this on a daily basis.
When the pictures are included, a moron could see where the problem lies.
“Judge Edwina Richardson-Mendelson granted Luis Penzo, 19, youthful offender status and sentenced him to a conditional discharge as long as he stays out of trouble for three years hell dodge prison and a criminal record. These leftist judges, who bend themselves into pretzels to protect “disadvantaged” thugs are one of the main reasons people don’t respect the law anymore.
I hit him two times, he never hit me. I dont have injuries, he told police.
A sullen-looking Penzo pleaded not guilty Wednesday to the charge of second-degree assault related to the October attack.
Before entering his plea, a clerk asked the surly 18-year-old to spit out his gum.
Penzo and Tossman crossed paths after the principal of Manhattan Early College School for Advertising found the youth who attends the adjacent Murry Bergtraum High School strolling in an > > > off-limits hallway. < < <
When the principal asked him to turn down the music, Penzo dropped his headphones to the ground, prosecutors said, but left the music booming.
When Tossman reached for them, the teen allegedly cold-cocked the educator, leaving him needing stitches and having to take seven days off work.
Penzo, who is out on a reduced $2,000 bail...

That is a classic setup.

He’s an adult.
When the courts do not demand respect, they get none. The decision of this judge is HORRIBLE. I suspect we’ll see this “kid” in the courts again........hopefully with a real judge this time.
This picture says it ALL.
One must be grateful that the misguided notions of centuries of Anglo-American jurisprudence can finally be set straight by the calm, reasoned thinking of black and hispanic women.
How much do they cost civilization? Dearly.
Thanks.
I will add and clarify to my above that both his father and then he, in his own right, were Judges of long tenure.
Lol, “Early College?” For “advertising?!”
The judge ought to get two black eyes and a 7-stitch laceration. See how much time he'd give him in the slammer then.
An unaccompanied minor?
Me too.
It was an excellent but I found it depressing as can be.
Might be a good time to check out the Mossberg 590 Shockwave for home defense...had my wife try one out this morning...she LIKES it, and had no trouble with it whatsoever.
It was disrespectful and moderately violent, but hardly worthy of prison time.
I agree with the judge.
Aside from that, the principal should have knocked the kid out after he was hit.
Used to be that fist fights weren't even considered worthy of the police's time.
“Sounds like an illegal alien and the judge wanted to make sure he had no criminal record - could be wrong, but that is what this sounds like to me.”
Yep, that is now going on. Kind of a parallel system of justice for Illegals. The leftist judges don’t want to give INS a reason to deport them, so they now get to slide or plead-down virtually anything.
...hard to believe.
Shorts in court?
That contempt right there.
They have created a legacy to be proud of!
