A hot-headed teen got a slap on the wrist Friday for slugging a Manhattan principal who told him to turn down his music. Judge Edwina Richardson-Mendelson granted Luis Penzo, 19, youthful offender status and sentenced him to a conditional discharge — as long as he stays out of trouble for three years he’ll dodge prison and a criminal record. “You made us very proud,” the judge said of the surly teen’s compliance with a family therapy program. Penzo, who sauntered into Manhattan Supreme Court Friday wearing a white T-shirt and red gym shorts, offered no apology.

I’ve seen a judge kick someone out of the courtroom for dressing like that.
That poor man. He doesn’t stand a chance and neither do the kids his was trying to help get an education.
And the teacher’s union doesn’t say a word...
Yeah, now that’s the look of contrition and sorrow for what he had done. Right.
Affirmative action does that. It casts aspersions on all of the genuinely qualified people who earned their places by hard work and diligence, like your friend’s father.
Those people are the casualties of the quota system as are the able who are pushed into institutions where they are not ready to succeed to fill a quote when they would have excelled at the spots their grades and intellects earned.

Instead, “Do you think you could turn that ‘music’ down a wee bit? Please, Mr. student, sir? Please?”

What a far cry from fourth grade with Mr. Razzman in 1960. The slightest infraction in his class, I mean the SLIGHTEST, and POW, you caught a piece of flying chalk in the teeth. Mom and Dad would then say when you got home “What were you doing to deserve that? Don’t you EVER do that again.”
Who believes her position is to exact cosmic punishment on whites to rebalance the power.
The judge is just dishing out “restorative justice,” the latest fad.
I was about to axe what kind of sentences she imposes on nigras who commit the misdemeanor of robbing and raping white folk?
“How much do you want to bet he is a drug dealer..?”
I’d bet even more that he’ll be back in her or some other judge’s court before reaching 20.
In one sentence, the article alludes to a kid that is appearing to change his life. Then, he shows up for a court appearance looking like a low-life slob and being completely unrepentant.
Which is it, New York Putz? Is he a "good boy who did something wrong" or just another garden-variety gang-banger thug?
Three years?
I got a buck that says in three years he is in prison for a major felony assault/murder charge.

And I guarantee you that girls are crawling all over each other to get some of that.
I also guarantee that he’s fathered AT LEAST five children by now.

The next you hear about the kid is that he did something much worse, now that he has received permission from the judge to assault people.
