It’s not about the cult of personality, it’s about conservatism. Apparently too many people have forgotten that the goal is liberty, not to make a deal on the length of our chains.
I’m not married to Republican ‘conservatism’ as it is today....we’re separated currently... pending a possible divorce in the near future.
I also wouldn’t call it a cult of personality....though some can be quite zealous..rather a trust that God knew what he was doing when he rose this man to this office against all odds.
Conservatism runs fourth in line of who I am if you’re going by labels.
I would say the downsizing of government and the empowering of its citizens was once the idea of conservatism.....
Liberalism is the empowering of government for what ‘it’ determines is the betterment of its citizens.....
