Why ban them from ever returning?
I disagree because people can repent, people can change.
Assuming they haven’t committed any violent crimes or felonies, if they choose to then apply lawfully, are eligible, keep the law and wait their turn, then why shouldn’t they be permitted to return in a lawful manner?
Ban them because I'm saving money. If you give illegals a choice between self-deportation with a chance to return and waiting for ICE to find them, we'll have to deport a lot more. Put a penalty on making us find them, and many will rush to leave first.
