It appears more and more we have a government of the government by the government and for the government.

Term limits would help. Make it 6 years as a maximum in any elected Congressional office combined. Pay a high salary to attract talent, maybe around $400,000 for Congress and $500,000 for senate. No pension, no healthcare, they can pay for their own.

All the more reason we need a con-con to amend the Constitution to set term limits.
