What politicians need are courage to do the economically sound policies along with going back to sensible market based health care plans (Hmm, around the same time Nixon/China thing), be as loud as they can on what single payer means, (Rationing, which will make not PROVIDING CARE for people with “preexisting conditions” a reality, covering is one thing, but providing is a whole different ballpark), and basically pave the way so my children and grandchildren can live under liberty as well as OPPORTUNITY.
What you suggest is defeatist pragmatic buffoonery to the point of saying “What the hell is the purpose to vote for anyone anymore”? Screw that and screw Nixon, LBJ, and Senator Ted Kennedy for staring this mess.
Your response is well-thought out and completely rational.
You have not, however, considered the effect of the voters on your otherwise ideal proposal.
