Americans are sick of the ghetto invasion of the NFL.
It use to be a front line for great race relationship examples.

They turned it into a battleground.

Screw em.

Screw Kaepernick and the NFL.

They've become anti-American.

"Dear NFL Owners. Is an average ticket buyer more likely to be a Hillary voter or a Trump voter?"

Which is more likely to work in a government or corporate office?

My daughter was watching last night and I asked what was with the uniforms. I didn’t recognize either team.

I agree on the overexposure.
I hated the preseason this year. I cut the cord and have only over the air broadcast tv.
The NFL preseason ruined tv for me. No matter where I turned some 2nd or 3rd string players were being shown. Even the preseason is overexposed!

Monday Night Football was great at one time because they usually had top tier teams playing each other.
Now it’s just another boring game in a league with too many teams, too many games, too many commercials, too many rules, too much thugitude and too little talent.

Global warming is destroying football, THAT is why nobody is going. Other than the fact that there is abject racism in the NFL, and not enough of the cheerleaders are transgender. Oh, and there aren’t enough safe places in the stadiums, there are no islamic prayer rooms.... Oh, and the other reason why the NFL is struggling is that they aren’t paid enough.

The thing about a half-empty stadium...it also means the parking lots that charge $20 per car are half-empty. It means that the amount of beer and sodas...are half the normal sales. It means that hot dogs and hamburgers are sold at half the normal amount.

Everyone beyond the players are suffering as well. Even the peanut guy.

I don't think you disagree with me much at all. I wasn't even referring to team performance in the case of the 49ers and Rams. I think there would have been a bunch of empty seats there even if both teams were 2-0 and were projected to be Super Bowl contenders.

1. The 49ers play in a stadium located miles away from the city, and it's supposedly an awful ordeal to get in and out of the place.

2. The Rams don't even have a real fan base, having moved back to Los Angeles last year after spending more than 20 years in St. Louis. They can't even fill their own stadium, so it's not like there are a ton of fans out there who are willing to make the trek up to San Francisco for a road game.

3. Attending an NFL game has gotten to be ridiculously expensive over the years. More and more people are simply priced out.

Eventually, people that used to spend their Saturdays and Sundays watching sports will find something else to do. In most cases, probably better for them, and better for the family. A year or two later, you’d wonder why you ever bothered watching sports.

If there is any fan base sympathetic to Kaepernick, it's San Francisco...And Seattle.

I dunno about that. Kaepernick was an opposing QB when in SFO opposing the Seahawks.

Then, there is the catastrophe that has followed Kaepernick's jihad against the American flag and it's citizens. Fans want to watch the sport; not let you get you SJW cred with people who, most likely, want the NFL gone.

I remember Laura Ingraham wrote a book some years ago when singers were standing there on stage venting about their political views to the audience. I believe the book was called, Shut Up and Sing. Maybe she should write another one called, Shut Up and Play the Game!

Good analysis. I’ve always thought it silly and strange for people to root for their city’s team. The team is a business and just happens to be transiently attached to a city.

I’ve always been in the “who cares” camp. God only gives you so many hours and passively watching adults play games just isn’t how I want to use those hours. Will this attitude take root more broadly? It does seem to be happening.

Flame away!

Sorry but the Giants issues aren’t Karpernick effect..

Building your stadium 40 miles from your city, overpriced tickets and a crap product.

The NFL has larger issues from Kaepernick but Giants attendance has been crap since moving their field.

re: Security

Shoot trap with a retired Las Vegas Assistant Chief of Police.

He has described some Heavyweight Championship Boxing Weekends. They import hundreds of cops from LA, Dallas and Chicago and appoint them as special LEOs for the weekend.

Says the new strategy is teams of 12-20 LEOs on street with shields, armor, helmets, swinging 36 inch riot sticks; lobbies of hotels and other businesses full of cops; and cracking heads when (often) necessary.

He says no AA out-of-towners complain, because that’s how they live their lives every day. Out of town cops love it, because they can work out their frustrations on the scumbags without having to worry about the jobs back home!

The Players Union apparently thinks the problem is that the NFL is insufficiently respectful to black people.

Perhaps the NFL needs some "diversity". Ya know, like white guys. Or, guys who don't beat up their wives and girlfriends and who will respect the flag? Just a thought.

Even if the tickets have already been purchased, that’s a lot of $10 beers and $8 hot dogs that aren’t being sold.

This was in France, and people who have been in her bedroom says the picture there has about another 20 inches of “skin” below where this picture cuts off.

If she turns her head a little more to the side half of her face will be totally obscured by that huge nose.

During the 1990s, IIRC, at half time, Michael Jackson did his “We are the World” thing in front of a huge crowd of children and made an obscene gesture in front of them (maybe with another song).

Decent football fans were gone before then. We’re just waiting for the debt collapse to stop the big spending and remove the remainder.
