The debate is set to take place Thursday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the RSA Activity Center on Dexter Avenue in downtown Montgomery.

Luther had issued scathing attacks ads and then when Moore responds to them in the debate Luther says Moore is attacking him and that he (Luther) will stick to the issues. Luther is definitely a typical slick politician.

But Moore is absolutely killing him. :-)

Is Trump’s endorsement of Luther the Strange the result of just plain stupid political advice from naive family members or worse?

Two possibilities:

1. McConnell is using support of Strange as a prerequisite to Trump getting his numerous unapporved nominees through more efficiently. Strange being new and in AL is not going to be the next Susan Collins or John McCain, at least not yet.

2. Trump doesn't want any celebrities who might occasional provide pressure from the right. His hands are full with lefties and Establishment types, and occasionally he will try to cut a deal that he sees the Rand Pauls and possibly Roy Moore types as getting in the way.

It’s the “Art of the Deal”, in this case a very BAD deal which adds sewage to the Swamp.

There is no honor amongst Republicans nowadays. Any deal will be reneged upon. BTW, Moore is no Rand Paul. We need 51 like Justice Moore. Without men such as Moore, there is no hope. Period.
