In a bid to stop people from removing the tarps over Charlottesville’s Confederate statues, city officials placed plastic fencing around the monuments, forbidding anyone from crossing the barriers.
The black tarps covering the statues of Gens. Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson have been ripped down from the statues six times since they were installed on Aug. 23. The coverings were put up in a gesture of mourning for Heather Heyer, who was killed in the car attack on Fourth Street on Aug. 12, the day of the Unite the Right rally.

Note the language that Heather Heyer was “killed In the car attack.” The article doesn’t say “by” the car attack. Looks like there’s a lot of doubt about what actually caused her death.
And the proper term is shroud, they are being hidden from sight.
She died of a Heart Attack not from being hit by the car which is why the driver is not charged with 1st Degree Murder.
Yes, cover the statues. That might bring the dead anarchist girl back.
Unfortunately, free republic is infested with haters of anything “southern.” Especially the confederate flag.
I’d suggest a petition to have the mayor covered in a shroud to avoid offending the public.

It is interesting that there is no film of her being hit. The gray Charger did not hit her either when going forward or backward. I assume she was run over by the red van that was hit by the white car that was hit by the gray Charger. But no news reporting on any of that. No witnesses, nothing. Also nothing on the cause of death. Was there an autopsy? Who knows.

I was picturing folks holding swords.
Here is a link with the research including a video of her mother saying what the coroner determined in an interview. The picture used by the media is also very old and she looked nothing like that at the time of the incident. This is not news the media will ever report on.
