You DO understand the concept of a PTSD dog, right? So why would bringing that dog into a restaurant (which might not have an outside patio) be rude?
Or is it your view that veterans suffering PTSD shouldn’t bring their help dog to restaurants unless they keep them outdoors?
If this person can’t operate without the presence of a dog, he should only go to areas which accomodate dogs. Dog friendly restaurants are common. Some restaurants have certain days for dogs, again they put up signs to let people know.
Many people with allergies avoid areas with dogs. This woman sounds more like someone with a phobia. Everyone can be accomodated if they give a thought to others and their needs.
