They played the video of this on ATLANTA TV station last night. They were telling, basically begging the guy to halt, to stop advancing. At one point they asked him his name two or three times especially, told him this was not necessary, to put down the knife or whatever he had. His response was
“ well, shoot me, “ he said that multiple times and continued to advance towards them.
We also need to keep in mind that he called in to 911 describing a male with a knife AND a gun, thus upping the ante.
