Eff the blue slip. It's not in the Constitution and it's way past time to flush this archaic "collegial" Senate tradition down the toilet.Agreed. When was the last time a Democratic appointee turned out to be a conservative? Whereas there's no shortage of GOP appointees who turned out to be liberal. It's long past time to end the blue slip tradition.

The Majority leader is not afraid of losing his job and hates the President. He will do nothing that helps President Trump or his Deplorables. I think his wife having a job in the administration might have been meant as a sweetener. But the leader doesn’t care and is not impressed. He’s probably so corrupt he and his wife don’t need the money.
