I have yet to even see anything that costs extra on Netflix, and why bother? They got enough stuff there that comes with the package to last forever. You don’t like Gunsmoke, or Beverly Hillbillies, but Get Smart and F Troop? OK. To each his own, but there’s no end to what’s available, even if not your first choice. I restrict my entertainment time to either background noise while I’m working in my home office, or an hour or so at the end of day, assuming I end the day before 1 am. For me, what Netflix and You Tube has to offer suffices within that time frame, and nothing that they now have on TV is better, or even as good. You like other things, fine. It’s only a matter of time before a video provider comes along that’s better than You Tube. Bottom line, television is a relic of the 20th Century, and we’re now well into the 21st.
Ok, try to get a baseball game or a live golf tournament on either one of those platforms. You can’t. I think live sports are the best thing that TV has to offer. Oh, you’re not in to sports? But you are in to Gunsmoke? Well OK. Maybe you can get some free ‘I Love Lucy’ while you’re at it.
You want to watch a movie on Netflix? Pay up.
