Television writes your schedule for you, and limits your choices to what a network wants to provide. All cable and satellite do is increase the number of networks making your choices for you. Netflix is $11 a month, and You Tube is simple to use. Thanks to You Tube, I can listen to Rush even in Israel, groove on David Brubeck or Louis Armstrong, and watch or listen to any episode Gunsmoke or the Beverly Hillbillies, whenever I want. Emmys? We don’t need no steenking Emmys. TV is over.
Yeah, I’m well versed on what Netflix has to offer, it’s mostly pay per view.. No thanks.
As for Youtube, well some of it is useful for music videos and things like that. You say you can watch gunsmoke or Beverly Hillbillies? Oh goody, BFD. Who wants to watch that crap over and over?
Try getting the original ‘Get Smart’ TV show or for that matter ‘F troop’. Not gonna’ happen bud, unless you want to shell out money at about $1.50 per 22 minute episode. totally not worth it. And those are just two examples of how it would cost a fortune to get worthwhile stuff for free.
