I’m not saying it should have been taken from you in the first place.
I’m saying that it didn’t just disappear into someone’s pocket (a la Solyndra). Musk borrowed some taxpayer money, and more than paid it back.
Your issue is with legislators, not with Tesla. The latter has done a good job with the opportunity, which they’d be stupid to not leverage; Musk would have done the same without taxpayer money if it hadn’t been available.
And calling me an idiot for defending a capitalist using what’s available is, well, stupid. Gov’t can’t choose winners; hyper productive people like Musk can’t be stopped.
