A better question is whether today’s America is institutionally oppressive towards whites. The answer to that is yes. So any action that Trump takes that is not anti-white looks racist to many.

The KKK has had rallies in Virginia in this year, but as far as I can find they had no significant involvement in the Unite the Rite Rally. They are reprehensible, but it is still unfair to blame them for what they have not done. The news is just using them to make Trump look bad. Here's a video of Trump Disavowing David Duke and KKK from 1991 to 2016, Trump calls Duke "bigot" & "a problem" and the news pretending he has never spoken aganist racism.
If we react defensively over labels, we will always be on the defensive. Stick to specific issues, such as racial preferences, discrimination against whites, blacks being their own worst enemies, socialist regulations that hurt blacks, etc.

I’m proud to be a Trump supporter... And I can defend my positions. I can discuss issues with people who disagree with me, too. It doesn’t have to get ugly!
But the racist thing is hard to deal with... as stupid as it is.
I realize that it represents the death of their argument, but they don’t. They think calling Trump a racist IS them winning the argument!
