“NY Times reporter slammed after saying boy mowing White House lawn sends bad signal on child labor”
Of course. These people have no idea the value of physical work.
The physical work that all kids used to grow up; the work that formed their characters.

And clear the yard of tourists
People For The Communist Way had a contest to see who could best assail the epitome of American industry, and Steven Goldberg won.
The Slimez needs another round of layoffs.
Bet so. Cross cuts look nice. Maybe that us how the grounds are done.
Since the boy owns his own business he should be
sitting in jail for violating child labor laws.
Greenhouse
He!! yes. Way to go!
So called “child labor” is a very good thing in a child’s formative years.
I did it all, too for “spending money.” A few bucks to a kid is important. Hard work, too.
I also remember taking the bottles and cans to the recycle counter at the supermarket. Only a few pennies each but enough to get a toy out of the gum machine. But I still remember it.
Or the time, I spent straightening nails for my grandfather.
All important lessons.
Darn, I WAS ABUSED! :)
Bet Greenhouse has a lingering student loan.
The kid will go debt free. He has a plan.
This just crossed my mind!
The left was drooling over that phony for his fake “invention”, and showered him with cash and prizes.
A kid that wants to just cut the damn grass is showered with snarky remarks.
"Look at them boll weevils, kids."
Volunteered as an 11 year old to mow the White House lawn, got to talk to the President. What could be better?
Liberals have such twisted minds.
Nauseating.
Same here on the hay fields.
Never mowed any lawns, wasn’t enough time with all the farm work that needed to be done.
All of us kids in our community worked on the farms. Not one of us had any serious injuries and this was with open pto shafts and no roll over protection.
Hand planted and suckered tobacco, cut it, put it in the barn and tended the curing fires. Spent nights and Saturdays sorting, tying and packing it. Very early morning packing it on the truck to take to the market.
Market day was a day off from school.
The good old days.
Or not being able to swim....
Leftists think an 11 yr old can’t be allowed to mow a lawn but must be allowed to pursue sex change surgery.
