During a segment on CNN, the former Koch brothers executive turned White House staffer Marc Short said that Americans needed to “have a serious conversation” about “what the definition of a wall is,” in regards to the U.S.-Mexico border wall that President Trump promised to build.

Short, who led the Never Trump movement inside the pro-mass immigration Koch brothers’ organizations, questioned what exactly a border wall would look like under the administration, while also pushing amnesty for nearly 800,000 illegal aliens shielded by the Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

“I think that what the definition of a wall is, is something that we all need to have a serious conversation” about, White House legislative affairs director Marc Short said on CNN’s “The Situation Room.”

Short said, “in some cases,” it would be a kind of fencing.

“It is a myriad of different structures,” Short said.

Short went on to describe Trump’s reportedly newfound commitment to amnesty for illegal aliens, saying “He feels that these are 800,000 people who came to the United States, no fault of their own, who are productive and working in American society. He wants to find a solution for them.”

Just build the darn thing that was one of your key positions that won you the election!! We all know that without a wall any enforcement on the border will be left up to the whims of future Congressional critters and future Presidents - HISTORY HAS SHOW ADEQUATE EXAMPLES OF THIS OUTCOME.

No I do not want to depend on border guards, blimps, drones, sound sensing devices, radar, tv, etc as the sole border protection. These are ALL subject to continuing FUNDING from the public treasury and the public has now figured out it can plunder the US Treasury.

A WALL JUST STANDS THERE AND REQUIRES MINIMUM MAINTENANCE (FUNDING).

Koch brothers want the cheap illegal labor express to continue. Make e-verify a national law and watch the Koch brothers change their tune.

Maybe...MAYBE some ‘consideration’ should be given to those that were actually BORN here, speak English, studied, worked and contributed to society.

Definitely those that were ‘transported’ here under BOs edict - (Would it surprise ANYONE if the ‘parents’/guardians’ of those BO ‘kidnapped’ are here with ‘them’?) should be THOROUGHLY checked out.

If an illegal is NOT self sufficient he/she/it should be returned from whence they came.

I grew up in areas with a lot of immigrants - probably the most from Italy - and I don’t recall seeing ALL the signs in the area in Italian, Polish, Greek, German etc etc etc they were in ENGLISH - possibly a restaurant or such would be a place like ‘home’ but MAIN ST had one sign.

OK, I give up - why is this guy now part of the administration?

A wall is exactly what Trump said it would be in the campaign - a big, beautiful physical obstruction to illegal aliens simply crossing over the border as they please. This is what was promised, this is what is expected.

Here's what it's not: cameras, drones, signs, increased education, and some other assorted BS about "virtual walls".

Either Trump delivers or he doesn't. I see him surrounding himself with people who don't seem to be on-board with MAGA, but that's his business - I only care about the end result. I'm still waiting.
