Trump repeatedly in the last week said funding for the wall will come later.
That is, he’s giving up amnesty without any wall funding. In congressional reality that means he’s not getting the wall funded.
He also said a few weeks ago no wall, no debt ceiling raised. We see where that went.

I agree we will see but you are cherry picking what President Trump has said & ignoring the fact that $1.6B for the wall was just passed by the House Friday. President Trump already has money allotted to retrofit & improve sections of the wall that exist & are under strength. That work has been going on since early summer, 2 sets of 4 prototypes have been awarded contracts and are funded to start construction on new sections of the wall. President Trump has many ways to fund the wall by diverting other monies. It is better that immigration reform be separate form wall monies so that TRump can better play hard ball. Donald J. TrumpVerified account @realDonaldTrump Sep 14 The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls, will continue to be built. .@KellyannePolls: "[@POTUS] believes that we should be a sovereign nation with borders. He wants that border wall constructed."
