Who knows? I don't accept the premise that Trump is so stupid that a seating chart influences policy. It is ridiculous.
This sort of hysteria actually kicks off periodically. I almost said “every few months,” but I think it might be like once a month. Then Trump does something and everybody loves him again. And then time passes and suddenly Trump is under the control of this or that insidious force, only to be released again whenever he makes a victory.
