I used to watch Bourdain’s “old” travel shows until he got to Laos and repeated some blood libel as truth that the US bombers that didn’t drop all their loads on Hanoi would divert to the Laotian Plain of Jars to murder a few people there. I’ve seen him lie at other things, asserting that wild historical fictions are “truth”. I remember one show when he was in Namibia and had to dine on the tribals’ best piece of the warthog - its anus. Looks like you are what you eat, Tony.
Thanks for the update! I’ve always suspected he was a serial liar. He also lies about a small thing: (no, not that!) he claims to be a born and bred NYer when he’s from the Jersey swamps. What a pig.
