Wedgeworth might be encouraged by the fact that government contractors and state and local governments on the west coast have been the main purchasers of fallout shelters according to at least one of the fallout shelter manufacturers.

That way, government employees and contractor employees can emerge after a nuke exchange as the main arbiters of nature and the environment...that is, to disallow anyone else from owning homes or participating in business. It would be their perfect world with a smaller population.

All of the western states might then be called New Prussia.

Well yeah, they're likely the only one's who could afford them. What's left of the middle class in CA can't even afford your basic 50 year old home. So forget the bomb shelters. Not happening for them.

Man, if that's what the nuke shelter people are selling, it's getting pretty deep.☺

But i wouldn't worry much about post nuke LA. It would probably take 5 years just to put out all the fires.
