Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s friends told her to take Xanax and see therapists after her loss in the 2016 presidential election, The New Yorker reported Wednesday.
“She listened with a tight, patient smile as people recommended Xanax and gave her the names of their marvelous therapists,” reporter David Remnick wrote.
Clinton’s friends would continue to tell her to “keep going” and would always remind her of her “determination,” but she reportedly didn’t want to hear it and became angry, confused, bitter, and sad. When asked how she got through the day after being so upset, Clinton responded, “Chardonnay helped.”

Anyone else notice, that Hillary has said nothing about her family, nothing about the importance of family, family ties, any of that, in coping with her loss??
She talks of cleaning out closets and doing something with her nostrils and walks in the woods, but nothing about how her family or Bill helped her in her dark hours. Nothing about how seeing her grandchildren kept her grounded and made her realize that there is life outside of politics. Nothing like that has been said as she peddles her book.
Just an observation. Chelsea was involved a lot with her mom’s campaign, even more than Bill. Yet she has nothing to say about how people close to her in her life helped her cope. Except these anonymous friends who wanted her to take Xanax.
This pic reminds me how Hillary at times has that crazy eye/bug eye look. Which is a sign of something, I’m sure.
Since SHE makes her gender the most important thing about her qualifications, and claims that people should have voted for just because she is a women, then by that one-dimensional criterion, it’s fair to point out that SHE HAS GIVEN WOMEN A BAD NAME.
Hillary should get more criticism for not giving a concession speech on Election night.

It is absurd, in my opinion, for anyone to consider Hillary as some role model for girls and young women.
For girls and young women, to emulate Hillary, to live their lives as Hillary has, would be a travesty. Marry a man, who repeatedly and publicly cheats on you? Willingly be a doormat for that man?? Have your achievements in life not be your own, but given to you because of who you are married to??
Did anyone else think it odd, with feminism and feminist theory, etc. that the first serious woman candidate for president was only there because of her husband? Feminism tells us that women are to achieve great things on their own, through their own merits, through their own efforts.
Yet here we see the woman who goes down in history as the first major party presidential nominee, was only there because of her husband, not due to her own achievements. Isn’t that a big contradiction, especially if they try to tell young girls and women that Hillary is some role model, some feminist icon???
